Maptek - Corporate Identity Revitalization

The Challenge: Maptek is an American company providing innovating mining technology around the world for almost 30 years. Maptek is committed to providing a total mine solution, offering products and services globally based on proven strengths. They were in need of a new corporate identity to communicate their commitment to innovation and growth. In partnership with TippingSprung a New York City based branding company, Brandessence / CBX developed Maptek’s new corporate identity.

The Solution: Since the company is the high tech category, the new identity had to communicate the brand’s primary commitment to innovation and at the same time be appealing to engineers. A stylized, 3D futuristic logo was developed, and capitalized on the brand’s name by using the initial M. The new solution is modern and innovative. The logo’s 3D look communicates the company’s 3D approach and also its promise to 360, full service, comprehensive solutions. A brand architecture and the corporate slogan, “Innovative, trusted, proven” were devised to reinforce the corporate identity communication at all points-of-touch.
